MATERIALS: 90% of our product consists of particle board that is made up of 100% ‘Urban Wood’ or recycled wood and wood fiber. There are also a number of LEEDS certified core products now available at an up charge (minimum sheet quantities apply for low pressure). Our standard fabrics are manufactured from 100% recycled materials.

WASTE: Custom Office Design is a JIT (Just-In-Time) manufacturer which translates into resource savings by minimizing inventory, overproduction, defects and product obsolescence. The entire facility has been retrofitted with high efficiency low watt lighting. Computerized machinery is equipped to optimize material, reducing the amount of scrap generated. The scrap that is generated is separated and recycled.

TRANSPORTATION/ FUEL CONSUMPTION: Custom Office Design is centrally located off the I-5 corridor. Nearly all of our suppliers are located within short distances of our facility and a majority of our customers are located within the Great North West minimizing fuel consumption associated with our product.
